We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

Simon Steinlin has been a Senior Project Manager at Ecoplan since May 2024, specialising in energy and the environment. From 2011 to 2024, he worked at the Swiss Federal Office of Energy SFOE (including as Head of the Federal Council and Parliamentary Affairs Section and as a specialist for climate policy issues), at the Swiss Mission to the EU in Brussels (as Head of Energy Relations with the EU) and at the public transport association LITRA (as Head of Projects and Communication). He completed his Master's degree in Political Science at the University of Bern in 2011.
