We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

Mara Häusler has been working as a scientific associate in the Energy and Environment department since June 2025. She studied economics in Bern and Neuchâtel, specialising in energy and environmental policy. She completed internships at Amnesty International Switzerland and the Swiss Federal Finance Administration. She was then employed as a research assistant at the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) at the University of Bern, where she is also writing her dissertation.
