We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

Tobias Schib has been working as a scientific associate in the economics department at Ecoplan since August 2025. He studied economics at the University of Basel, specialising in political economy and economic policy. From 2020 to 2025, he worked as a teaching assistant and doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Basel and earned his doctorate with a thesis on the political-economic analysis of federalism.
