We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

Matthias Setz has been a partner at Ecoplan since 2025 and is head of the Transport Division. Since 2014, he has been working on projects in the areas of transport and economy. His main focus is on cost-benefit analyses, regional economic analyses and the creation of tailor-made Excel solutions. He studied economics and business administration at the University of Berne and was a working student at Ecoplan during his studies.
