We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

René Neuenschwander is President of the board of directors and has been a partner of Ecoplan since 1988. His main areas of expertise are transport policy, regional planning and economic policy. He is committed to ensuring that transport costs are accurate and that transport and urban development are better coordinated. He studied economics and business administration at the University of Berne, graduating with a licentiate in 1988.
