We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

Katja Manike has been working in the Health and Ageing division since 2019 and is a public health generalist specialising in the areas of communicable diseases, security of care, electronic patient files, mental health and health equity. She has been Head of the ‘Health Care and Policy’ business area since 2021. She majored in political science and biology and minored in German studies. Until 2009, she worked as a research assistant for the Federal Office of Public Health and trained part-time as a science journalist (Berlin School of Journalism). She then worked for the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (Competence Centre for Health Management, Adult Education). Between 2014-19, she managed health and communication projects for the ‘Science et Cité’ foundation.
