Who we are

We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

Simon Schranz has been working at Ecoplan since 2020, focussing on economic, energy and environmental issues. He studied economics and sustainable development at the Universities of Bern and Copenhagen and also completed a CAS in data visualisation. Before joining Ecoplan, he completed internships at Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation in Ethiopia and at the Swiss Federal Tax Administration in Bern.
