We are an economically and politically independent consultancy and research bureau with branches in Bern and Altdorf. Founded in 1988, Ecoplan is a public limited company that is wholly owned by its partners. Our success is measured by the satisfaction of our customers. The key to this lies both in the quality of our analysis and consultancy services and in our close working relationships with our customers. Ecoplan provides its services carbon neutral.

Tanja Engel joined Ecoplan in September 2021 and focuses on projects in the fields of energy, environment and transport. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Geography, she went on to earn a Master of Science in Economics from the Universities of Bern and Bergen (Norway). While studying, she worked at ProClim. In 2024, she completed further training in data analytics in French in Paris, where she acquired in-depth knowledge of quantitative methods.
